Venue Info

We have no on-site parking, the nearest carpark is on Warner Street, alternatively there is nearby street parking. Public transport or rideshare are excellent options too. If you are being dropped off we recommend Warner Street or Winn Street. Never drink & drive!

Dinner doors open an hour before the time on your ticket, that means you can come down early and grab a feed or a drink from the bar early, for kitchen hours check our homepage.

Generally gigs will wrap up around midnight, but need to rush off, we’re open til late, hang around for some good tunes and good times.

Please make sure to check the door time of your show to ensure you don’t miss a thing. We advise you to arrive close to the door time to grab the best spot in the house. We do not post set times prior to the show. Come down early and see the supports, you might end up with a new favourite band.

We have a DIY water fountain if you want to skip the bar queue, fill your cup no fuss.

No shock here, but no smoking or vaping inside the venue, or in Winn Lane. We do not have a designated smoking area. If you need a cig or vape, you can do so on Ann or Winn street. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

We do not tolerate any kind of offensive behaviour, verbal discrimination, aggression, physical violence, abuse or harassment of any kind. Respect and consent should be at the forefront of every interaction for not only patrons but bands, staff and security too.

Crowbar will always prioritize the safety of our guests. However, incidents may sometimes happen that are beyond our control. We encourage guests to communicate with our staff if they feel anyone’s safety is at risk.

Ticketing

Gigs that aren’t sold out will have a ticket allocation available from the door person on the night. We cannot hold tickets for you. First in, best dressed.

We don’t issue refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, however, you can list your ticket for sale on Tixel, which is a safe and legitimate ticket reselling website.

If an event is listed as ‘sold out’ on our site, then it generally means no tickets will be available from the door. On very rare occasions additional tickets will become available, but we have no way of predicting this. If a show is sold out you’ll be able to join the waitlist via the event page, then you’ll be the first to know if we release tickets.

Alternatively, you can try to find a ticket on Tixel – do not buy tickets off Viagogo or Facebook.

All of our gigs are 18+ for safety and licensing purposes. Unfortunately your 17 & 11 month friend cannot attend a ticketed event unless specified. Under 18 year olds are able to come in for lunch trade if they are under supervision of a parent or guardian.

Proof of age cards/licences are required every time you visit. We reserve the right to deny service even if you think you look over 18. We have scanners by law and all patrons are required to have valid ID on them to enter a licensed premises. If your licence is damaged or expired you will need to obtain a new one before visiting the venue.

Accessibility

Unfortunately since taking on this particular space, we have been unable to make the venue wheelchair accessible. We are working on changing this in the future, however at this time the venue is only accessible by 28 steps (with a landing platform in the middle) from Ann street to venue.

Please contact us ahead of time via social media or [email protected] if you require any assistance, our staff are more than happy to help any way we can.

Most of our events are standing, unless otherwise specified. If you require a seat due to accessibility requirements please reach out to us prior to show day so that we can assist.

We also have a range of booths and tables around the venue, first in best dressed.

Seated events have un-allocated seating meaning first in, best dressed. In all cases we recommend getting in early if you want to get a good spot.

A companion card is issued to people with a disability who have a lifelong need for attendant care support in order to participate in community activities and attend venues. Crowbar provides companion card holders with a second ticket for their chosen companion at no cost given availability.

To arrange this please contact Oztix with your ticket confirmation and companion card details.

We have two bathrooms, an ‘Everybody’ bathroom with 6 enclosed cubicles and a ‘Gents’ bathroom, signed as such, because they include a large public (not enclosed) urinal as well as 2 enclosed cubicles.
